Praca pokazuje różnicę pomiędzy przestrzeniami sacrum i profanum w utworze A. I. Kuprina "Sulamitka". W pierwszym rozdziale opisana została przestrzeń sacrum, czyli winnica króla Salomona, w której spotykają się główni bohaterowie. Drugi rozdział opisuje przestrzeń profanum, czyli miasto, Jerozolimę, która jest siedzibą grzechu i zła. W trzecim rozdziale ukazane zostało jak przestrzeń sacrum i profanum mogą na siebie wzajemnie wpływać.
The work shows the difference between the spaces of the sacrum and the profanum in the novel of A. I. Kuprin "Sulamith". The first chapter describes the space of sacrum, the vineyard of King Solomon, where the main characters met. The second chapter describes the space of profanum, the city, Jerusalem. The third chapter shows how the space of the sacrum and the profanum can influence each other.
