Ideą pracy jest przeanalizowanie, oraz wgłębienie się w zagadnienie śmierci stanowiącej przystanek w drodze do mitycznego raju. W tym celu przeanalizowane zostały książki oraz artykuły takich autorów jak: Bommas, Barwik, Niwiński oraz Andrzejewski. Drugorzędne źródła zostały szczegółowo przestudiowane w celu osiągnięcia jak najlepszego zrozumienia zagadnienia. Dla przywołania, użyte zostały prace autorów o odmiennych spojrzeniach na temat, aby osiągnąć obiektywne wnioski.Teksty grobowe, wyposażenie zmarłego, amulety, królestwo Ozyrysa , bramy piekła są głównymi tematami jakie zostały poruszone w pracy. Zamierzonym celem było zbadanie i analiza zagadnienia wiary w śmierć stanowiącą drogę do mitycznego raju starożytnych Egipcjan i dowiedzenie, iż śmierć miała dokładnie to sens.

This assignment intended to research and explore the issue of death being merely a stop on the way to the mythical paradise for ancient Egyptians. Key books and articles on the subject were scrutinised, including the works of such authors as Bommas, Barwik, Niwiński and Andrzejewski among others. The secondary sources used were carefully examined in order to achieve a deep understanding of the topic. Different authors’ points of view were gathered in the discussion to provide an objective answer to the hypothesis formed as this assignment’s title.The guidebooks for the dead, the equipment of the tombs, the talismans and jewelry of the dead, Osiris’ kingdom, the elements of a human, the seven gates of hell, the journey to the paradise as well as the paradise of the dead itself were discussed in tremendous detail. The aim of this assignment was to research and explore the issue of the belief of death as the stop on the way to the mythical paradise for ancient Egyptians and prove that death was in fact the said stop.
