Celem pracy było zwrócenie uwagi na problem złej jakości żywienia szpitalnego oraz analiza możliwości zakwalifikowania nieprawidłowego wyżywienia jako naruszenia ustawy o prawach pacjenta. W pracy zwracam uwagę na historię problemu, przedstawiam obecny stan prawny i faktyczny żywienia szpitalnego, podkreślam wagę żywienia w procesie leczniczym oraz przedstawiam możliwość uznania żywienia za świadczenie zdrowotne w rozumieniu wspomnianej ustawy.
The aim of the thesis was to highlight the problem of bad quality of hospital nutrition in Poland and an analysis of a possibility of qualifying improper nutrition as an infringement of the Patient’s Rights Act of 2008. In the thesis I highlight the history of the problem, current legal and factual situation of hospital nutrition in Poland, emphasize the importance of nutrition during treatment and demonstrate the possibility of qualifying nutrition as a health consideration as defined in the Patient’s Rights Act.
