Poland in the multi - speeed Europe - the myth or possible scenario?

Unia Europejska oficjalnie została ustanowiona na podstawie Traktatu z Maastricht z 1992 roku, jednak jej początków należy szukać już kilka lat po zakończeniu II Wojny Światowej. Podpisanie Traktatu Paryskiego w 1951 roku i powołanie Europejskiej Wspólnoty Węgla i Stali przez sześciu członków założycieli było urzeczywistnieniem Deklaracji Schumana i pierwszym krokiem w kierunku integracji europejskiej. Obecnie Unia Europejska swoim zasięgiem objęła niemal cały kontynent europejski. Jednym z największych sukcesów Wspólnoty jest tak długi okres pokoju i bezpieczeństwa w Europie, który trwa od ponad 60 lat. W niniejszej pracy zostały przedstawione słabe oraz mocne strony integracji europejskiej, zwracając szczególną uwagę na zróżnicowanie w Unii Europejskiej oraz jego wpływ na relację między państwami członkowskimi. Oprócz tego została poruszona kwestia oceny członkowstwa Polski w Unii Europejskiej oraz jej pozycji w zróżnicowanej Europie.

The beginning of European integration took place after the Second World War. The signing of the Treaty of Paris in 1951 and the establishment of the European Coal and Steel Community by the six founding members were the realization of the Schuman Declaration and the first step towards European integration. The main objective was economic and political cooperation. In addition, an important issue was preventing conflicts and promoting unity between European nations. One of the greatest successes of the Community is the long period of peace and security in Europe, which has lasted for more than 60 years. The subject of the bachelor's thesis is the Differentiation integration in the European Union and its impact on the relations between the Member States. The purpose of bachelor’s thesis is to show, that the European Union is not perfect organization and it has weekneses. The main problem is the fact, that the some Member States of European Union are marginalized and they do not develop evenly. Particular attention has been paid to the position of Poland in a diverse Europe.
