United States-Mexico border: problems, effects and proposal solutions.

Prezentowana praca stanowi próbę przedstawienia sytuacji na granicy amerykańsko-meksykańskiej. Praca traktuje o tym, jak uszczelnianie granicy i wzmocnienie kontroli na przejściach granicznych wpływa na rozwój przestępczości, łamanie praw człowieka oraz nielegalną imigrację do Stanów Zjednoczonych. Autorka opisuję ewolucję powstania granicy amerykańsko-meksykańskiej biorąc pod uwagę najważniejsze wydarzenia mające wpływ na jej obecny kształt. Autorka koncentruje się w szczególności na głównych problemach występujących na pograniczu amerykańsko-meksykańskim oraz analizie operacji i działań władz obu państw dążących do zahamowania opisywanych zjawisk oraz bada ich skuteczność.

This work is an attempt at presenting the situation at the US-Mexican border. It shows how sealing the border and strengthen checks at border crossing points affects the development of crime, human rights violations, and illegal immigration to the United States. The author describes the evolution of the US-Mexican border, taking into account the most important events affecting its current shape. The author focuses in particular on the main problems encountered on the American-Mexican border and analyzes the operations and activities of the authorities of both states seeking to inhibit the phenomena described and their effectiveness.
