Afektonimy są szczególnych rodzajem zwrotów adresatywnych, co dokładniej opisuje pierwsza część pracy. Jako znak czułości i bliskości są kierowane do osób darzonych uczuciem, przede wszystkich do partnerów i dzieci. Mimo że nie są używane powszechnie na całym świecie, stanowią bardzo produktywną dziedzinę słownictwa języków europejskich. Jednakże częstość użycia, sposób konstruowania i preferowane pola semantyczne są czynnikami, które różnicują poszczególne języki. W przedstawionej tu pracy przyjrzeliśmy się zjawisku afektonimów w trzech językach : polskim, francuskim i hiszpańskim. Są one kolejno badane w drugiej części pracy pod względem semantyki, morfologii i kultury danego obszaru językowego. Analiza została przeprowadzona na podstawie ankiety naszego autorstwa, a zbiorcze zestawienie jej wyników znajduje się w końcowej części pracy.

Affectonyms are a particular type of terms of address, which is described more precisely in the first chapter of this thesis. As a sign of tenderness and intimacy, they are addressed to the loved relatives, especially to a partner or a child. Although the affectonyms are not universal in the whole world, they represent a very productive linguistic field in the European languages. However, the frequency of use, different types of construction or preferred semantic fields are factors that change depending on language. In this thesis we have examined the phenomenon of affectonyms in three languages : Polish, French and Spanish. They are successively analysed in the second chapter considering semantics, morphology and culture influencing the language. The study was based on our questionnaire whose results are summarily presented in the final part of the thesis.

Les affectonymes constituent un type particulier des termes d’adresse, ce que décrit plus précisément la première partie de ce mémoire. Comme un signe de la tendresse et de la familiarité, ils sont adressés aux personnes aimées, surtout aux partenaires et aux enfants. Bien qu’ils ne soient pas universels dans le monde entier, ils constituent un domaine très productif dans les langues européennes. Pourtant la fréquence d’emploi, les façons de construction ou les champs sémantiques préférés sont des facteurs qui changent en fonction de la langue. Dans cette étude nous avons examiné le phénomème des affectonymes en trois langues : polonais, français et espagnol. Ils sont successivement analysés dans la deuxième partie du texte des points de vue sémantique, morphologique et culturel. L’étude a été faite sur la base de notre enquête, dont les résultats sont sommairement exposés dans la partie finale du mémoire.
