Representation of intercultural communication based on a autobiographical novel "Małżeństwo po szwedzku" written by Krystyna Ylva Johansson

W mojej pracy analizuję obraz komunikacji międzykulturowej na płaszczyźnie polsko-szwedzkiej w powieści autobiograficznej Krystyny Ylvy Johansson "Małżeństwo po szwedzku" wydanej w roku 2009. Praca składa się z czterech rozdziałów. Pierwszy dotyczy teorii problematyki konfliktu międzykulturowego oraz kulturowych różnic między Polską i Szwecją. W drugim omawiam postać autorki, reakcje w Polsce na jej książkę oraz aspekty socjologiczno-historyczne powieści. W trzecim rozdziale wyjaśniam zasady doboru przykładów z powieści oraz w jaki sposób je później analizuję. W rozdziale trzecim znajduje się również lista wybranych przykładów. Ostatni rozdział poświęcony jest analizie wybranych przykładów, podzielonych uprzednio na cztery kategorie. Na końcu dokonuję podsumowania całości mojej pracy oraz przedstawiam wnioski dotyczące problematyki zarysowanego w powieści konfliktu międzykulturowego.

In my paper I analyze the representation of intecultural communication between Poland and Sweden based on the autobiographical novel written by Krystyna Ylva Johansson „Małżeństwo po szwedzku”, published in year 2009. The paper consists of four chapters. The first chapter refers to the theoretic issue of intercultural conflict and cultural differences between Poland and Sweden. In the second chapter I investigate the author herself, the reactions to her book recorded in Poland and various sociological-historical aspects of the novel. In the third chapter I comment on the rules of choosing examples from the novel and the way I analyze them in the paper. The third chapter contains also a list of chosen quotations. The last chapter is dedicated to interpretation of the chosen examples, divided into four categories. Finally, I summarize the paper and present conclusions regarding the subject of the intercultural conflict, which I have previously investigated in the paper.
