Aby odpowiedzieć na to pytanie jest przypadek Kazachstanu i akcje podjęte przez EU podczas promowania praw człowieka. Aby odpowiedzieć na to pytanie trzeba zwrócić uwagę na sposób w jaki EU podjęła działania w Kazachstanie podczas promowania praw człowieka. Główną metodą była kwalifikacyjna analiza dokumentu, która pozwalała na analizę oficjalnych dokumentów polityki zagranicznej EU. Reasumując rezultaty badania potwierdza to poprzednie badania, że EU zaniedbuje prawa człowiekaz powodu własnych interesów.

What place does the human rights promotion in third countries take in the foreign policy of the EU? The EU set a goal for itself to spread respect for democracy and human rights around the world. However, how important it is actually for the EU to have human rights respected and protected across the globe? Undoubtedly, the EU exerts a lot of effort to fulfil this commitment. However, when the question is between choosing their own interests or human rights and democracy, scholars claim that the EU tend to choose the former. The purpose of this study is to investigate the place of human rights promotion in third countries in the foreign policy of the EU. The main approach that was used in order to answer the research question is the case study of Kazakhstan and the actions of the EU towards this state when promoting human rights. The main method was qualitative document analysis, which allowed for the analysis of official documents of the EU’s foreign policy. Overall, the findings of this research confirmed the previous studies that the EU neglects human rights due to the presence of their own interests.
