Praca ma za zadanie przybliżenie funkcjonowania muzeów regionalnych na przykładzie Muzeum Ziemi Słomnickiej. Po początkowym przybliżeniu historii kształtowania się oraz sytuacji obecnej muzealnictwa regionalnego, skupiam się na przedstawieniu konkretnej placówki muzealnej, jako przykład inicjatywy oddolnej społeczności lokalnej.
The main point in the thesis is to show the inner workings of the regional museum, as an example I have chosen the Museum of the Slomniki Land. First I try to present the history and the present situation of the local museums. The second part presents specific museum as an example of the grassroots initiative of the local society.
