Experience of freedom and propensity to destructive behaviour

Główną problematyką pracy jest szeroko rozumiana kwestia wolności człowieka oraz wpływ pryzmatu przez jaki jest postrzegana na podejmowanie zachowań destruktywnych. W pracy zostały przedstawione zmiany społeczne, ekonomiczne czy gospodarcze które w przeciągu lat wpływały na rozumienie i doświadczanie wolności. Poruszana zostaje także kwestia poczucia bezpieczeństwa, pozostająca w nieustannym konflikcie z poczuciem wolności a równocześnie nierozłączna od niego. Zostają także przedstawione związki pomiędzy wolnością a osobistą odpowiedzialnością. Zasadniczą istotą pracy są rozważania nad ciężarem jaki niesie ze sobą wolności i drogami ucieczki od tego ciężaru - ucieczki w zachowania destruktywne.

The main theme of this essay is widely understood issue of human freedom and the influence of the way it is perceived on people's destructive behaviour. In this thesis/essay social, economic, and administrative changes are presented which have influenced the understanding and experience of freedom over the years. The issue of the sense of safety being in constant conflict with the sense of freedom, while at the same time remaining inseparable of it, is also being addressed. Presented are also relations between freedom and personal responsibility. The essence of the essay consists of considerations of the liability which freedom imposes, and the ways of escaping the liability - escaping into destructive behaviour.
