Trafficking in Europe

Przedmiotem niniejszej pracy jest proceder handlu ludźmi. Zjawisko to obejmuje szereg przestępstw takich jak wykorzystywanie kobiet i dzieci w celach seksualnych, pracę przymusową dorosłych i nieletnich oraz handel organami ludzkimi. W celu zbadania tego wciąż postępującego zjawiska niezbędne było porównanie dostępnej literatury naukowej, danych statystycznych, jak i również artykułów oraz materiałów udostępnianych przez organizacje pozarządowe takie jak fundacje. Praca składa się z trzech głównych rozdziałów. Pierwszy rozdział definiuje zjawisko handlu ludźmi w ustawodawstwie krajowym, europejskim oraz w aktach prawnych wydanych poprzez organizacje rangi międzynarodowej. Drugi rozdział dotyczy poszczególnych form jakie przybiera handel ludźmi, ich przybliżeniu, zdefiniowaniu oraz ukazaniu szerokiej skali problemu, w którą wpisują się różnorodne formy handlu. Natomiast w ostatnim rozdziale omówiona została pomoc przysługująca ofiarom, sposoby ich ochrony przed i w trakcie postępowania karnego, jak i również, sposoby ścigania oprawców. Warto zauważyć, iż ze względu na postępującą globalizacje, zacieranie się granic państw, małą świadomość społeczną na temat tego zjawiska, jak i również, biorąc pod uwagę słabą wykrywalność tego procederu poprzez jednostki ścigania, zjawisko handlu ludźmi wciąż rośnie na sile, stając się jednym z najpoważniejszych zagrożeń dla praw człowieka w XXI wieku.

A practice of the human trafficking is an object of this work. This occurrence includes the sequence of such crimes like exploiting women and children to sexual purposes, the forced work of adults and juveniles and the trade in human organs. In order to examine this still progressing phenomenon comparing the available scientific literature, statistical data, as well as articles and materials provided by non-governmental organizations such as foundations was essential. The work consists of three main chapters . The first chapter defines the practice of the human trafficking in national legislation , European legislation and legal acts issued by organizations of international rank . The second chapter concerns the different forms that takes human trafficking, their roughly defined, and the release of a wide scale of the problem which fit into the various forms of trade. In the last chapter was discussed support for victims, manners of their protection before and during the criminal proceedings, as well as methods of prosecuting perpetrators. It is worthwhile noticing that due to the progressive globalization , blurring the boundaries of states, little public awareness of this phenomenon as well as considering the weak detectability of this practice through individuals of the prosecution, human trafficking continues to grow in strength becoming one of the most serious threats to human rights in the twenty-first century.
