Praca zawiera charakterystykę zaburzeń stawów skroniowo-żuchwowych w reumatoidalnym zapaleniu stawów i młodzieńczym idiopatycznym zapaleniu stawów. W wstępie przedstawiono opis anatomii stawu skroniowo-żuchwowego, opis reumatoidalnego zapalenia stawów, młodzieńczego idiopatycznego zapalenia stawów, dysfunkcji stawu skroniowo-żuchwowego oraz opis leczenia farmakologicznego. Celem pracy jest przedstawienie opisu leczenia i rehabilitacji pacjenta z objawami choroby stawów skroniowo-żuchwowych w młodzieńczym idiopatycznym zapaleniu stawów. W dalszej części pracy opisano algorytm postępowania rehabilitacyjnego w przypadku dziecka z MIZS. Podsumowując pracę stwierdzono, że leczenie i rehabilitacja stawów skroniowo-żuchwowych jest mało poznanym działem fizjoterapii jednocześnie będącym obszarem o dużych możliwościach rozwoju dla fizjoterapeutów.

This thesis provides a summary of temporomandibular joint disorder in rheumatoid arthritis and juvenile idiopathic arthritis. The introduction includes a description of the temporomandibular joint anatomy, rheumatoid arthritis, juvenile idiopathic arthritis, temporomandibular joint dysfunction, and pharmacological treatment. The objective of this thesis is the presentation of a treatment plan and rehabilitation of a patient with some symptoms of temporomandibular joint disorder in juvenile idiopathic arthritis. The other part of the thesis refers to a rehabilitation algorithm in the case of a child with MIZS.To conclude, the thesis proves that treatment and rehabilitation of temporomandibular joints is still a difficult area of physiotherapy, being at the same time a field of tremendous development opportunities.
