Praca ma na celu dokonanie analizy sposobów kształtowania wizerunku średniowiecznego władcy na przykładzie króla Francji Filipa Pięknego. Omawiane są w niej m.in pola, zakres i cele akcji propagandowych inicjowanych przez dwór królewski oraz środki kształtowania i manipulowania opinią publiczną. Zostały również przedstawione rzeczywiste poglądy społeczne na temat władcy oraz ich podobieństwa i sprzeczności w stosunku do oficjalnej propagandy.
The aim of this thesis is to analyse the methods of creating the image of a medieval ruler demonstrated on the example of the French king Philip the Fair. The work presents among other things area, range and goals of the propaganda initiated by the royal court as well as the measures of creating and manipulating public's opinion. It also discusses the real social outlook on the ruler and its similarities and discrepancies with regard to the official propaganda.
