Folk culture of borderland Podhale and Slovakia

Praca będzie skupiała się na trzech aspektach. Pierwszym będzie charakterystyka terenów pogranicza, przedstawienie różnych koncepcji oraz opis kultury pogranicza. Rozważania te oparte będą o idee regionalizmu Miroslava Hrocha. Pomoże nam to zrozumieć przyczyny dyfuzji, która zachodzi na takich terenach. Drugi omawiany aspekt to szczegółowe omówienie pogranicza podhalańsko-słowackiego, z uwzględnieniem charakterystyki Podhala, Liptowa, Orawy i Spisza oraz wyznaczeniem dróg przenikania się kultur dwóch narodów. Są nimi wspólna historia, a także liczne kontakty gospodarcze i handlowe. Dużą część rozważań będzie stanowić opis Wołochów i ich wędrówki łukiem Karpat jako jednego z najistotniejszych elementów wpływających na ziemie pogranicza. Ostatnim aspektem będzie dokładny opis zjawiska kultury ludowej oraz ukazanie przenikania się wybranych jej elementów na pograniczu.

The work is based on three aspects. The first is characteristic of border areas, representation of different concepts and description of borderland culture. These considerations will be based on the ideas of regionalism (Miroslav Hroch). This will help us understand the causes of diffusion that occurs in such areas. The second aspect concerned the detailed discussion Podhale and Slovak border, taking into account the characteristics of Podhale, Liptov, Orava and Spisz and the designation of roads interpenetration of cultures of two nations. They are a common history as well as economic and trade relations. A large part of the discussion will provide a description of the Vlachs and their wandering arc of the Carpathians as one of the most important elements affecting the land border. The last aspect will be an accurate description of the phenomenon of folk culture and showing the penetration of some of its elements on the borderland.
