Praca jest przedstawieniem wizji Imperium Brytyjskiego jaki trafia do przeciętnego czytelnika "Gazety Warszawskiej". Analizowałem jaki był stan informacji jakie zdobywali redaktorzy "Gazety Warszawskiej" w konfrontacji z prawdą historyczną. Badałem także co interesowało ludzi w XVIII wieku, jakie mieli upodobania, o kim i o czym lubili czytać, o jakie dziedziny życia i na jakie osobistości mogliśmy natrafić przeglądając Polską prasę tamtych czasów. W mojej pracy miałem na celu zbadać i udowadniać, że mentalność ludzi nie zmienia się znacząco, a problemy, radości i rozmyślenia jakich doświadczamy są uniwersalne.

My work is presenting a vision of the British Empire which goes to the average reader of "Gazeta Warszawska". I analyzed what was the state of information that conquered the editors of "Gazeta Warsaw " in the confrontation with the historical truth . also I researched what interested people in the eighteenth century , they had preferences about whom and what they liked to read about what areas of life and what celebrities we could find by browsing Polish press of the time. In my work, I had to investigate and prove that people's mentality does not change significantly , and problems , joys and second thoughts we experience are universal.
