Związek pomiędzy stresem i depresją a zespołem jelita drażliwego, przegląd literatury
The relationship between stress and depression and irritable bowel syndrome, a literature review

Streszczenie Wstęp: Nie do końca widomo czy istnieje związek pomiędzy stresem stanami depresyjnymi a zespołem jelita drażliwego. Cel pracy: Przedstawienie związku pomiędzy stresem, depresją a zespołem jelita drażliwego na podstawie przeglądu literatury. Materiał i metoda: W wyszukiwaniu materiałów do niniejszej pracy korzystano z internetowej bazy danych PubMed, literatury naukowej. Założone kryteria spełniło 10 prac, głównie o charakterze przekrojowym. Wyniki: Wyniki omówionych badań pokazują że depresja i stres odgrywają istotną rolę w rozwoju objawów zespołu jelita drażliwego. Wykazano, że wysoki poziom stresu jest istotnie związany z IBS, a obniżenie stresu może pomóc złagodzić objawy IBS. Wyniki badań pozwalają również stwierdzić, że chorzy na IBS cechują się wyższym poziomem lęku i depresji w porównaniu do zdrowych. Wnioski: Przeprowadzona analiza 10 badań wykazała że osoby z IBS cechowały się wyższym poziomem stresu oraz, że zależność pomiędzy IBS a zaburzeniami depresyjnymi istniała a jej siła była zróżnicowana.
Abstract Introduction: Not exactly known whether there is a link between stress and depressive states irritable bowel syndrome. Objective: Presentation of the relationship between stress, depression and irritable bowel syndrome based on literature review. Material and Methods: In search of materials for this work benefited from an online database PubMed, the scientific literature. Results: The results discussed studies have shown that depression and stress play an important role in the development of symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome. It has been shown that high levels of stress is significantly associated with IBS and stress reduction can help alleviate the symptoms of IBS. The test results also allow conclude that patients with IBS characterized by higher levels of anxiety and depression compared to healthy subjects. Conclusions: The analysis of 10 studies showed that people with IBS had a higher level of stress, and that the relationship between IBS and depressive disorders existed and its strength varied.
