Consumer protection on the telecommunication service background

Przedmiotem niniejszej pracy jest przedstawienie prawnej pozycji konsumenta na tle usługi telekomunikacyjnej. W pracy zostały poruszone zarówno kwestie teoretyczne jak i praktyczne związane z pojęciem samej usługi jak i pojęciem konsumenta. Przedstawione zostały wybrane zagadnienia prawne które wskazują, że przeciętny obywatel ma możliwość domagania się danej czynności od przedsiębiorcy oraz ma możliwość uzyskania pomocy od organów państwowych, które są wyspecjalizowane w takiej działalności. W pracy została również poruszona kwestia ochrony naszych danych osobowych, które są na co dzień wykorzystywane przez podmioty dostarczające usługi. Przedstawiono sytuacje, w których konsument nie jest zobowiązany do wyrażenia zgody na przetwarzanie danych osobowych.

The subject of this disseration is to present legal consumers' position on the telecommunication services background. In the thesis have been raised both – the theoretical issues and the practical ones associated with the concept of the service itself and the term of the consument. The chosen legal issues which denote that an average citizen has got an opportunity to demand a particular enterpreneur's action and has got a possibility to gain the state authorities' assistance, which are specialized in such activity, were presented.The desseration also raises the issue of the protection of people's personal data, which are used everyday by the services providers. The situations when the consumer is not obliged to agree to the processing of the personal data were presented.
