Cómo se hace una novela: mise en abyme in the work of Miguel de Unamuno.

Tytuł mojej pracy licencjackiej to “Cómo se hace una novela”: autotematyzm w twórczości Miguela de Unamuno. W swojej pracy chciałam scharakteryzować i omówić pojęcie autotematyzmu oraz przybliżyć jego pochodzenie. Następnie starałam się przedstawić, jak strategia ta została zastosowana w dziełach Miguela de Unamuno. Szczególną uwagę poświęciłam trzem dziełom baskijskiego autora, a mianowicie: Niebla, Tres novelas ejemplares y un prólogo i Cómo se hace una novela. W każdym z tych utworów autotematyzm przybiera różne postacie i działa według innych mechanizmów. Jednakże mają też wiele wspólnego, na przykład zastosowanie zabiegu literackiego, polegającego na utożsamieniu się autora z osobą narratora i wchodzeniu do rzeczywistości danej historii, co sprawia, że zacierają się granice pomiędzy tym, co realne i tym, co fikcyjne.

The subject of my Bachelor Thesis is: “Cómo se hace una novela”: autothematismo in the of Miguel de Unamuno. In my thesis I would like to dehescribe the concept of the mise en abyme and also to present its origin. Then I’ve tried to introduce how was this phenomenon applied in the Miguel de Unamuno’s novels. A special attention I paid to three books of him: Niebla, Tres novelas ejemplares y un prólogo and Cómo se hace una novela. The character of mise en abyme in each one of these stories is different and function thanks to various processes. However there are things that these novels have in common an it is for example the author who is identifying itself with the narrator and enters in the reality of the story, that causes that disappears the line between the reality and the fiction.

El tema de mi estudio es: “Cómo se hace una novela”: autotelismo en la creación de Miguel de Unamuno. En mi trabajo quería caracterizar y describir el fenómeno de autotelismo y acercar su origen. Además intenté presentar cómo este término fue empleado en la creación de Miguel de Unamuno. Para el análisis he escogido tres obras: Niebla, Tres novelas ejemplares y un prólogo y Cómo se hace una novela. En cada de estas tres obras mise en abyme tiene el cáracter un poco diferente y funciona gracias a varios mecanismos. Sin embargo tienen mucho en común, por ejemplo el autor se identifica con el narrador y entra en la realidad de la historia, lo que hace que se borran las líneas entre el mundo real y el mundo fíctico.
