Starają się sprostać preferencjom społeczeństwa, jednocześnie przekazując wartości, do których zostały powołane. W świecie wielozmysłowej kultury iwentu wyzwaniem dla muzeów staje się opracowanie złotego środka między edukacją muzealną a rozrywką. Jednym z przejawów działania tych instytucji jest Noc Muzeów. Organizowana od 1997 roku w Niemczech i od 2003 roku w Polsce stała się eventem przyciągającym tłumy. Niniejsza praca to odpowiedź na pytanie na czym polega fenomen Nocy Muzeów. Składa się z opisu wydarzenia, uczestników oraz ich opinii o tym evencie.

Contemporary social and technological changes meant that museums tend to face a wider audience. They try to meet the preferences of society, while providing value, to which they were created. In the world of multi-sensory culture iwent challenge for museums is to develop the right balance between museum education and entertainment. One of the manifestations of museum operation is The Night of Museums. Organized since 1997 in Germany and since 2003 in Poland has become an event attracting crowds. This master thesis is the answer to the question what is the phenomenon of The Night of Museums. It consists of a description of the event, the participants and their opinions about this event.
