Praca zawiera omówienie wyników badań, prowadzonych podczas pobytu studyjnego w Islandii, dotyczących źródeł informacji o Unii Europejskiej wśród Islandczyków pokolenia Y. W pracy został omówiony stosunek Islandczyków do własnego państwa, relacje islandzko - unijne oraz media w Islandii, a także zwyczaje korzystania z mediów w pokoleniu Y w Islandii. Wyniki przeprowadzonych przez autorkę badań wskazują, że Islandczycy są słabo poinformowani o Unii Europejskiej, co skutkuje brakiem ich zainteresowania integracją europejską.

This thesis contains the analysis of the results of the research conducted in Iceland about the sources of information about the European Union in the Icelandic generation Y. The thesis describes Icelanders' perception of their own country, relations between Iceland and the European Union, media in Iceland and habits in media usage in generation Y in Iceland. The results show that Icelanders are not well informed about the European Union therefore are not interested in this issue.
