abstract in Polish:	Unia Europejska od ponad 50 lat zaangażowana w tworzenie harmonijnego i jednocześnie zróżnicowanego społeczeństwa, a także przyczynia się do promowania nauki języków obcych. Poprzez prawodawstwo UE określa wiele aspektów życia obywateli europejskich, w tym również wpływa na aspekt językowy.Celem tej pracy jest przedstawienie polityki językowej Unii Europejskiej oraz głównych wyzwań związanych z wielojęzycznością, z którymi to każdego dnia zmagają się zarówno instytucje europejskie jak i obywatele. Język włoski instytucjonalny, znany jako eurocratese, zajmuje ważną w Unii Europejskiej, ze względu na fakt iż, Włochy były jednym z krajów - założycieli Unii Europejskiej. W niniejszej pracy zostaną zaprezentowane Charakterystyczne cechy dokumentów włoskich. Ponadto, uwaga będzie skupiona na fundamentalnym aspekcie językowym UE, który określa pracę instytucji europejskich - a mianowicie na tłumaczeniu. Codzienna praca tłumaczy gwarantuje obywatelom Unii Europejskiej równość oraz dostęp do podstawowych informacji na temat funkcjonowania Wspólnoty.
abstract in English:	The European Union for more than 50 years is involved in creating an harmonious and at the same time diversified society of knowledge. The European Union also contributes to promote learning of the foreign languages. Through the legislation, the EU determines many aspects of european citizens life’s, including also the linguistic aspect. The purpose of this thesis is to present the language politics of the European Union and analyze how the european insitutions face the challenge of multilingualism. In the European Union the Italian institutional language, known as eurocratese, takes an important role, due to the fact that Italy was one of the founders of the European Union. The characteristic features of Italian documents will be presented in subsequent chapters. Moreover, the attention will be focused on the fundemental aspect that determines work of european institution – the translation, that makes comprehensible the european documents and ensures the equality of every single EU citizen.
abstract in other languages:	L’Unione Europea da più di 50 si impegna a creare una società del sapere, armoniosa e nello stesso tempo diversificata ed a promuovere l’apprendimento delle lingue straniere. Tramite la legislazione, l’UE determina la vita dei cittadini europei, anche sul livello linguistico.Lo scopo della presente tesi di laurea magistrale è presentare il regime linguistico dell’Unione Europea ed analizzare come gli organi comunitari affrontano la sfida del multilinguismo. Nell’ambito dell’Unione Europea la lingua italiana istituzionale detta eurocratese svolge un ruolo essenziale, dovuto al fatto che l’Italia fu fra i paesi fondatori dell’attuale Unione Europea. I tratti caratteristici dei testi italiani verranno presentati nei capitoli successivi. Inoltre, l’attenzione verrà rivolta all’aspetto fondamentale del funzionamento delle istituzioni europee, cioè alla traduzione comunitaria che rende comprensibili i documenti europei, garantendo così la parità e l’uguaglianza di ogni cittadino comunitario.
