Głównym celem mojej pracy jest pokazanie związków między trylogią Ajschylosa „Oresteja” oraz jej przedstawieniami na wazach starożytnej Grecji. We wprowadzeniu prezentuję aktualny stan badań dotyczących opisywanego tematu, najważniejsze artykuły, monografie i katalogi autorów zarówno polskich, jak i zagranicznych. Następnie w trzech kolejnych rozdziałach rozwinięcia omawiam, w kontekście tematu pracy, poszczególne części trylogii: w rozdziale pierwszym – „Agamemnona”, w drugim – „Błagalnic” oraz „Eumenid” w rozdziale trzecim. Analizuję także wazy, których fotografie zamieszczone są w odpowiednich miejscach tekstu. Końcowa część pracy stanowi podsumowanie moich badań oraz prezentację wyciągniętych z nich wniosków.

The main purpose of my thesis is to show the relationship between the Aeschylus' trilogy „Oresteia” and its portrayal on ancient Greek vases. The introduction presents the current state of research done on the subject: publications, monographs, and catalogues, written by both foreign and Polish authors. The main body of the thesis examines each part of the trilogy: „Agamemnon” in the first chapter, „The Libation Bearers” in the second, and „Eumenides” in the final chapter. All chapters include illustrations of relevant ancient Greek vases. The final part of the thesis summarizes my research and draws final conclusions.
