Szepty, kolory i kształt miasta. Zmysłowy obraz Wenecji ukazany na podstawie wybranych dzieł.

Whispers, colours and form of the city. Sensual image of Venice shown on the basis of selected writings.

Celem niniejszej pracy jest ukazanie zmysłowego obrazu Wenecji na podstawie trzech wybranych utworów: „Wenecja jest rybą” Tiziano Scapry, „Znak wodny” Josifa Brodskiego oraz „1000 dni w Wenecji” Marleny de Blasi. Praca składa się z trzech rozdziałów, wstępu, wprowadzenia, zakończenia oraz aneksu. Każdemu z wybranych dzieł poświęcony jest jeden rozdział, który otwiera część teoretyczna, dotycząca formy tekstu, po czym następuje przejście do analizy dzieła, która została przeprowadzona pod kątem zmysłowego odbioru miasta przez autorów. Cechą charakterystyczną wybranych utworów jest fakt, iż każdy z nich reprezentuje inny rodzaj literacki, a autorzy pochodzą z rożnych stron świata. Wykorzystując zróżnicowanie w stylu, a także w sposobie opisywania miasta, niniejsza praca ukazuje relacje autorów z Wenecją, a przede wszystkim dowodzi, iż bez względu na pochodzenie, przekonania, typ obserwatora i sposób, w jaki pisarz zdecyduje się opisać Miasto Na Wodzie, to od wieków wzbudza ono ciągle te same emocje.

The aim of this thesis is to show the sensual image of Venice on the basis of three selected writings: "Venice is a fish" by Tiziano Scapra, "Watermark" by Joseph Brodsky and "1000 days in Venice" by Marlena de Blasi. The thesis consists of introduction, three main chapters, conclusion and annex. Each of the selected books is dedicated to a single chapter and every chapter is opened by the theoretical part, concentrated on the form of the text. Subsequently the writing is being analysed for the sensual perception of the city. The characteristic feature of all chosen writings is the fact, that all of them represent a different literary genre and all authors come from different parts of the world. Using huge variety of styles and ways of describing the city, the thesis shows the relations of authors with Venice and, first of all, proves the statement, according to which, regardless of origin, beliefs, observer type and manner used to describe City of Water, it evokes the same emotions since ages.

L’obiettivo della presente tesi di laurea è quello di presentare l’immagine sensoriale di Venezia sulla base di tre opere: “Venezia è un pesce” di Tiziano Scarpa, “Fondamenta degli Incurabili” di Josif Brodski e “1000 giorni a Venezia” di Marlena de Blasi. La tesi è composta da tre capitoli, da una premessa, introduzione, conclusioni ed appendice. Ad ogni opera scelta viene dedicato un capitolo, il quale viene aperto dalla parte teorica che tocca il problema della forma del testo. In seguito viene presentata l’analisi del libro, la quale mette in evidenza soprattutto la percezione sensoriale della città degli scrittori. Quello che caratterizza le opere scelte è il fatto che oguna rappresenta un altro genere letterario, e inoltre, gli autori, provengono dalle diverse parti del mondo. In questo modo, sfruttando la diversità culturale degli scrittori e dei generi delle opere, nonché la diversità del modo di descrivere la città, la presente tesi mostra la relazione degli autori con Venezia, e soprattutto il fatto che indipendentemente dalle origini, dal modo di pensare, vedere e scrivere sulla città della laguna, da secoli essa suscita sempre le stesse emozioni.
