NAZI EXTERMINATION POLICY OF ROMA AND SINTI (1933-1945) AGAINST THE DRAMA SHOAH. COMPARATIVE CONSIDERATIONS AND REFLECTIONS

Prześladowań Romów i Sinti w czasie II wojny światowej przez nazistów jest dotychczas najbardziej pomijanym problemem w pracach naukowych dotyczących tego okresu. Zaraz po zakończeniu działań wojennych w 1945 roku i ujawnieniu tragedii KL Auschwitz – Birkenau stał się tematem tabu, którego przez długi czas nikt nie starał się podejmować. Dlaczego taka sytuacja miała miejsce? Dlaczego zajęto się wyłącznie badaniami nad Zagładą Żydów? Praca ma charakter komparatystyczno – refleksyjny. Przedstawia wydarzenia dotykające Romów i Sinti w III Rzeszy równolegle do represji jakie dotknęły Żydów. Udowodnia, że prześladowania społeczeństwa romskiego miały taki sam (a nawet silniejszy) charakter jak prześladowania narodu Dawida.

Persecution of Roma and Sinti during World War II by the Nazis is by far the most overlooked problem in scientific work on this period. Immediately after the end of hostilities in 1945 and the disclosure of the tragedy of Auschwitz - Birkenau became a taboo subject, which for a long time no one was trying to make. Why this was the case? Why study addressed only Holocaust? The work is a comparative - reflective. Shows events affecting Roma and Sinti in the Third Reich parallel to the repression that affected the Jews. To prove that the persecution of the Roma community have the same (or even stronger) the nature of the persecution of the Jews.
