The functioning of a child in the early childhood with the spastic type of the cerebral palsy - casestudy.

Wstęp: Mózgowe porażenie dziecięce to zespół niepostępujących uszkodzeń mózgu, który charakteryzuje się nieprawidłowym wzorcem postawy, ruchu oraz występowaniem szeregu objawów towarzyszących, będących skutkiem chorób współistniejących. Złożoność zespołu wskazuje na konieczność szerokiego podejścia terapeutycznego do chorych dzieci, które skupi się na problemach fizycznych, społecznych i psycho-emocjonalnych.Cel: Celem pracy było rozpoznanie problemów zdrowotnych, psychicznych i społecznych dziecka z mózgowym porażeniem dziecięcym typu spastycznego i problemów jego rodziny.Materiał i metoda: W pracy wykorzystano metodę casestudy. Badania przeprowadzono w oparciu o następujące techniki badawcze: obserwacja, wywiad, analiza dokumentacji medycznej, pomiary.Wyniki: Rozpoznano 13 problemów zdrowotnych, społecznych i psycho-emocjonalnych dziecka i 2 problemy dotyczące całej rodziny.Wnioski: Holistyczne podejście w opiece nad dzieckiem z mózgowym porażeniem dziecięcym jest gwarancją sukcesu terapeutycznego.

Introduction: Cerebral palsy is a conjunction of non-progressive damages of brain, which is characterized by an abnormal posture, difficulties in moving and an occurrence of many symptoms caused by concurrent diseases. The complexity of this conjunction shows, that it is necessary to have a holistic therapeutic attitude of disabled children, so the therapist can focus on physical, social and psycho-emotional problems.Aim: The aim of this research was to show health, psychological and social problems of a child with cerebral palsy (spastic type) and its family’s problems. Materials and methods: The research was based on the casestudy method and on following research techniques: observation, interview, analysis of the medical documentation, measurements.Results: Diagnosis of 13 health, social and psycho-emotional problems of the child and 2 problems concerning the whole family.Conclusions: A holistic attitude in a day care of the child with a cerebral palsy is a guarantee of the therapeutic success.
