Curses in the Polish online environment.

Praca podejmuje temat rzucania klątw w środowisku polskojęzycznych stron internetowych. Zagadnienie jest analizowane przede wszystkim w kontekście antropologicznych teorii magii. W pierwszym rozdziale opisana została metodologia badań etnograficznych w Internecie oraz metodologia użyta przy pisaniu pracy. W rozdziale drugim i trzecim następuje rekonstrukcja sposobów postrzegania klątwy przez internatów. Rozdział drugi skupia się na definicjach klątwy tworzonych w oparciu o porównywanie jej z innymi rodzajami działań magicznych mających na celu szkodzenie. W rozdziale trzecim zostają opisane definicje klątwy nie odnoszące się do innych rodzajów magii. W podsumowaniu zostały zamieszczone wnioski dotyczące przede wszystkim funkcjonowania magii we współczesnym świecie.

The topic of thesis are curses in Polish-language Web environment. The issue is examined primarily in the context of anthropological theories of magic. The first section describes the methodology of ethnographic research on the Internet and the methodology used in the thesis. The second and third chapter reconstructs the Internet`s users perceptions of the curse. The second chapter focuses on the definitions of the curse created on comparing it with other kinds of magical action aimed at harming others. The third chapter describes the definitions of the curse which are not related to other types of magic. The summary describes way of functioning the magic in the modern world.
