Tematem pracy są mechanizmy skandalizacji, jakie występują w przekazie mediów. Jako przykład zastosowania tych mechanizmów wybrany został przekaz mediów na temat afery Amber Gold, która miała głośny przebieg i uzyskała szeroki rozgłos w mediach. Dla współczesnego społeczeństwa informacyjnego dysponowanie informacją ma ogromną wartość. Praca składa się z 6 rozdziałów, wstępu i bibliografii. W pierwszym rozdziale omówione zostały wzajemne relacje mediów i polityki na tle współczesnego systemu demokratycznego. Opisana została złożoność wzajemnych wpływów i komunikacji. Kolejny rozdział to omówienie zjawiska skandalizacji w mediach, a konkretniej skandalizacji, dokonującej się w sferze polityki. W trzecim rozdziale wyróżnione i opisane zostały konkretne mechanizmy skandalizacji, jakimi posługują się współczesne media. W kolejnym etapie pracy poruszona została tematyka afery Amber Gold. Najpierw dokonano charakterystyki zarówno afery, jak i postaci prezesa Amber Gold Marcina P. Następnie przedstawiono kalendarium wydarzeń związanych z przebiegiem afery. W drugiej części pracy dokonano analizy zawartości wybranych tygodników opinii, a na koniec przedstawiono wnioski.

The theme of work are scandalizing mechanisms which occur in the transmission of media. As an example of these mechanisms was selected media messages about Amber Gold scandal that was loud course and received wide publicity in the media. For current information society is the availability of information enormous value. The work consists of six chapters, introduction and bibliography. The first chapter discusses interactions of media and politics on the background of the modern democratic system. Has been described the complexity of mutual influence and communication. The next chapter is a discussion of the phenomenon of scandalizing the media, and more specifically scandalizing, making in the sphere of politics. In the third chapter highlighted and described are specific mechanisms scandalizing spoken by the modern media. In the next stage of the work discussed was the subject matter of scandal Amber Gold. First was the characteristics of both the affair and as President of the Amber Gold Martin P. Then the calendar of events has been illustrated and related to the conduct of affairs. In the second part of the analysis of the content of selected weekly reviews, and finally presents the conclusions.
