To textual reproduction capabilities of the German passive voice in the operation manual of BMW

Głównym celem przedłożonej pracy było badanie poszczególnych tłumaczeń. Przykłady pochodzą z niemieckiej instrukcji obsługi samochodu BMW i zostały porównane z polskimi tłumaczeniami. Ażeby osiągnąć cel pracy, w rozdziale analiza zdania strony biernej zostały podzielone na następujące grupy: strona bierna z czasownikami modalnymi, strona bierna z konstrukcjami jedno-, dwu-, trzy-, czteroczęściowymi konstrukcjami, strona bierna określająca stan oraz strona bierna z czasownikiem "bleiben". Zdania strony biernej w języku niemieckim rzadko są tłumaczone w tej samej formie, w wielu przypadkach tłumaczone są jako czasowniki w stronie czynnej, rzeczowniki, przymiotniki lub pozostają nieprzetłumaczone. W języku polskim rzadziej posługujemy się stroną bierną niż w języku polskim. Przeważająca część tłumaczeń jest w stronie czynnej. W pierwszym rozdziale zostało wytłumaczone znaczenie słowa strona bierna oraz jego związek ze stroną czynną. W drugim rozdziale została opisana niemiecka strona bierna. Obejmuje ona takie pojęcia jak: strona bierna w poszczególnych czasach, agens, ograniczenia, ilość części w konstrukcjach strony biernej, opis semantyczny, strona bierna określająca stan, strona bierna, strona bierna z czasownikami modalnymi oraz inne rodzaje strony biernej. W trzecim rozdziale została opisana polska strona bierna. Uwzględnione pojęcia to: strona bierna, strona bierna czasowników dokonanych i niedokonanych, strona bierna z by-konstrukcjami, strona bierna określająca stan. Opisane są również obszary gdzie jest stosowana strona bierna. Czwarty rozdział to analiza tłumaczeń pochodzących z instrukcji obsługi samochodów BMW. Nastąpił tu podział na takie grupy jak: strona bierna z czasownikami modalnymi, jedno-, dwu-, trzy- i czteroczęściowe konstrukcje strony biernej, strona bierna określająca stan oraz strona bierna z czasownikiem "bleiben".

The main aim of this thesis was to explore the different translations: the examples of the German manual for the car (BMW) were compared with the Polish translations. To achieve this goal, the passive sentences were divided into the following groups in the analysis: the passive with modals, the process passive with one-, two-, three-and four-membered passive constructions, the state of passive and remain passive. The passive sentences were rarely in the same form as they are in German, translated in many of them the passive voice has been translated only as the Aktivverb, noun or adjective and the great part was not translated. In Polish part you needed less passive than in German. The majority of the translations is in active. In the first chapter, the concept of the passive voice has been described. The importance of the passive voice, the relationship between the passive and active have been described. In the second chapter the German Passive described. To compare the translations following terms must be explained: the tenses, the agent in German Passivhaus principles, the limitations, the number of links in liabilities constructions, semantic meaning, the state of passive, the process passive, passive with modal verbs, which are passive, the get-passive, which remain passive. The third chapter includes the description of the passive voice in the Polish language. The following terms were explained: the passive operation, the passive voice of the imperfective and perfective verbs in the passive process by constructions, the passive state. It also applications of the passive state and the passive voice has been described. Im fourth chapter, the textual reproduction of the passive options were analyzed. The passive sentences are from the German manual for this vehicle (BMW) and Polish translations were found in the Polish equivalent of the manual. At the end of each sub-chapter summaries have been short listed. The conclusions from the practical part enable the achievement of the main objective, namely to point to, with what forms the German Passive plays in the Polish language.

Das Hauptziel der vorliegenden Magisterarbeit war die Erforschung der einzelnen Übersetzungen: Die Beispiele aus der deutschen Bedienungsanleitung zum Fahrzeug (BMW) wurden mit den polnischen Übersetzungen verglichen. Um das Ziel zu erreichen, wurden in der Analyse die Passivsätze in folgende Gruppen eingeteilt: das Passiv mit Modalverben, das Vorgangspassiv mit ein-, zwei-, drei- und viergliedrigen Passivkonstruktionen, das Zustandspassiv und das bleiben-Passiv. Die Passivsätze wurden selten in derselben Form, wie sie im Deutschen haben, übersetzt, in vielen von ihnen wurde das Passiv nur als das Aktivverb, Substantiv oder Adjektiv übersetzt und der große Teil wurde gar nicht übersetzt. In Polnischem gebraucht man seltener Passiv als im Deutschen. Der überwiegende Teil der Übersetzungen steht im Aktiv. Im ersten Kapitel wurde der Begriff des Passivs erläutert. Es wurde die Bedeutung des Passiv, die Beziehung zwischen dem Passiv und Aktiv beschrieben. Im zweiten Kapitel wurde das deutsche Passiv beschrieben. Für den Vergleich der Übersetzungen müssen folgende Begriffe erklärt werden: die Zeitformen, das Agens in deutschen Passivsätzen, die Einschränkungen, die Zahl der Glieder in passivischen Konstruktionen, semantische Bedeutung, das Zustandspassiv, das Vorgangspassiv, das Passiv mit Modalverben, das gehören-Passiv, das bekommen-Passiv, das bleiben-Passiv. Das dritte Kapitel umfasst die Beschreibung des Passivs in der polnischen Sprache. Es wurden folgende Begriffe erklärt: das Vorgangspassiv, das Passiv der imperfektiven und perfektiven Verben, das Vorgangspassiv bei by-Konstruktionen, das Zustandspassiv. Es wurden auch die Anwendungsbereiche des Passiv und des Zustandspassivs beschrieben. Eine wichtige Rolle spielen Folgezustandskonstruktionen.Im vierten Kapitel wurden die textuellen Wiedergabemöglichkeiten des Passivs analysiert. Die Passivsätze stammen aus der deutschen Betriebsanleitung zum Fahrzeug (BMW) und die polnischen Übersetzungen wurden in der polnischen Entsprechung der Betriebsanleitung gefunden. Am Ende jedes Unterkapitels wurden kurze Zusammenfassungen angeführt. Die Schlussfolgerungen aus dem praktischen Teil ermöglichen die Erreichung des Hauptzieles, nämlich sie zeigen auf, mit welchen Formen das deutsche Passiv in der polnischen Sprache wiedergegeben wird.
