Modus operandi of the rapists

Celem niniejszej pracy jest analiza zachowań sprawców zgwałceń oraz samego obrazu przestępstwa zgwałcenia w Polsce. Główne założenie pracy polega na konfrontacji rzeczywistego portretu sprawcy zgwałcenia z jego odbiciem w świadomości społeczeństwa. Praca ma charakter interdyscyplinarny.Pierwszy rozdział poświęcony jest instytucji z dziedziny kryminalistyki - modus operandi. W kolejnym autorka podejmuje temat dotyczący przestępstwa zgwałcenia na gruncie prawa karnego. Trzeci rozdział dotyczy psychologicznych uwarunkowań sprawców zgwałceń. W kolejnym autorka omawia zgwałcenie na podstawie statystyk policyjnych oraz sądowych.Pracę zamyka rozdział dotyczący badań aktowych przeprowadzanych w krakowskich sądach karnych.

The purpose of the following master’s thesis is to analyse the behaviour of the rapists and the crime of the rape in Poland. The main assumption of this thesis is to compare the actual portrait of the rapist with reflection of that in awareness of the society.This MA thesis has got an interdisciplinary character.The first chapter is devoted to the issue of modus operandi in the area of crime detection. In the next one, the author brings up the subject of the crime of the rape in penal law. The third chapter deals with psychological aspects of the rapists. In the next one, the author discusses the rape in the context of police and court statistics’. The last chapter concerns a case file survey, which was carried out in the criminal courts in Cracow.
