Nauczanie Uczniów Szkoły Średniej Wybranych Dźwięków Języka Angielskiego.

Celem tej pracy było zidentyfikowanie problemów z wymową wybranych dźwięków angielskich przez uczniów. Kolejnym celem było zbadanie ilości błędów, które pojawiły się po zakończeniu serii ćwiczeń usprawniających wymowę wybranych dźwięków angielskich u uczniów. Ostatnim celem pracy było sprawdzenie czy dzięki różnorodnym ćwiczeniom uczniowie ocenili swoją wymowę angielska bardziej pozytywnie.Praca składa się z trzech rozdziałów: dwóch teoretycznych i jednego praktycznego. Rozdziały dotyczące zagadnień praktycznych ukazują co składa się na wymowę angielską, przytoczona zostaje krótka historia zmian jakie zachodziły na przestrzeni lat w poglądach na nauczanie wymowy, ponadto znaleźć też można szczegółowy opis angielskich spółgłosek i samogłosek oraz ukazana jest rola nauczyciela w nauczaniu języka angielskiego. W rozdziale drugim szczegółowo opisane zostały różne metody i techniki nauczania wymowy. Ostatni rozdział ukazuje wyniki uzyskane podczas przeprowadzonego badania. Najpierw opisane zostały metody badawcze oraz uczestnicy badania a następnie jego wyniki. Praca zakończona jest wnioskami, które podsumowują wyniki badania.

The aim of this paper was to identify the problems that students had with pronunciation of English sounds. Also, the researcher wanted to evaluate the scope of mistakes that the students made after the series of pronunciation exercises on the chosen English sounds. It was also designed to investigate if pronunciation practice led to a more positive perception of students’ target language pronunciation skills.The thesis comprises three chapters: two theoretical and one practical. The theoretical chapters focus on different aspects of teaching pronunciation. Chapter one introduces the most important aspects of teaching pronunciation, shows a brief history of how the view on pronunciation has been changing over the years, provides the reader with detailed description of English sounds, and shows the role of a teacher in teaching pronunciation. In chapter two different pronunciation teaching methods and techniques are presented and described. The last chapter presents the results obtained in the course of the research. Firstly, background information connected with the study is presented. Next, the research methods, the subjects and the procedure are described and the qualitative results are analyzed. The thesis ends with conclusions in which the results of the study are discussed and some conclusions regarding the results are presented.
