Praca ma na celu wyjaśnienie w jaki sposób sekta Aum Shinrikyo zdołała przyciągnąć wielu wykształconych ludzi oraz użyć środków bojowych w państwie, które jest postrzegane jako jedno z najbezpieczniejszych na świecie. Rozprawa nie ogranicza się tylko do bezpośrednich przyczyn powodzenia ataku terrorystycznego w Tokio 20 marca 1995 roku, ale także dotyczy kulturowego podłoża powstania grupy.
The purpose of this thesis is to explain how Aum Shinrikyo sect managed to attract so many well-educated people and use weapons of destruction in the state, which is known as one of the safest countries in the world. Dissertation does not limit to direct reasons for the success of the terrorist attack on 20th march 1995 in Tokyo, but also concerns cultural formation of the group.
