Vocational education and activation of persons with moderate and significant intellectual disability performed in Gustav-Heinemann Schule in Pforzheim

Niniejsza praca jest próbą ukazania w jaki sposób przebiega aktywizacja zawodowa osób z umiarkowaną i znaczną niepełnosprawnością intelektualną w Gustav-Heienemann Schule w Pforzheim. W oparciu o opis, a następnie analizę organizacyjnych oraz metodycznych rozwiązań proponowanych w tytułowej placówce przybliżone zostały nowoczesne trendy w działaniach pedagogicznych podejmowanych na rzecz kształtowania i wzmacniania samodzielności życiowej osób niepełnosprawnych, a w konsekwencji przeciwdziałania marginalizacji społecznej tychże osób. Praca składa się z trzech części, w pierwszej zaprezentowano szeroki kontekst teoretyczny przedmiotowej problematyki. Uwarunkowania i wyznaczniki procesu rehabilitacji zawodowej osób niepełnosprawnych zaprezentowane zostały w kontekście współczesnych modeli rozumienia istoty niepełnosprawności, a w szczególności niepełnosprawności intelektualnej. W części drugiej tego opracowania przedstawione zostały przyjęte w nim założenia metodologiczne, postawione problemy badawcze, a także organizacja i przebieg badań. Część trzecia poświęcona jest prezentacji i analizie wyników badań własnych. Zgromadzony materiał badawczy pozwolił na wyprowadzenie wniosków, ukazujących możliwości wykorzystania opisanych w pracy rozwiązań niemieckich w praktyce edukacyjnej i rehabilitacyjnej placówek specjalnych w Polsce. W rezultacie stwierdzono, że funkcjonujący w przedmiotowej placówce system aktywizacji zawodowej, dzięki swojej zasadniczo wysokiej efektywności, może być w wielu obszarach modelowym rozwiązaniem przy tworzeniu w Polsce lokalnych systemów wsparcia aktywności zawodowej osób z niepełnosprawnością intelektualną.

The following research is an attempt to show the ways in which the vocational education and activation of persons with moderate and significant intellectual disability are performed in Gustav-Heinemann Schule in Pforzheim. Basing on the description and analysis of the organizational and methodological solutions proposed in the mentioned facility, we can enumerate some modern trends. These are the pedagogical attempts undertaken in order to shape and strengthen the independence of living and social inclusion of disabled people. The work consists of three parts. The first stage presents a broad theoretical context of the leading issue. The process of vocational rehabilitation of disabled people is presented in the context of contemporary models aimed at understanding the nature of intellectual disability. In the second part of this study, there are the methodological assumptions presented as well as the research problems. Themes such as organization and conduct of the study are also included. The third part is dedicated to the presentation and analysis of the research results. Taking into consideration the collected material it is possible to draw some effective conclusions on the basis of the developed German educational practice. Additionally, it shows the opportunities of using them on the Polish educational ground as the model ways of organizing local cooperation systems.Conclusively speaking, one can say that the vocational activation system, thanks to its effectiveness, can constitute a model figure when it comes to creating the local vocational activation systems of support for the intellectually disabled in Poland.
