Nursing care in the early period after hip replacement surgery.

Celem niniejszej pracy było przedstawienie roli pielęgniarki opiekującej się pacjentem we wczesnym okresie pooperacyjnym po zabiegu alloplastyki stawu biodrowego.Praca podzielona została na cztery rozdziały tematyczne. Dwa pierwsze rozdziały stanowią wstęp do rozważanych kwestii traktując o istocie, przyczynie i sposobach leczenia schorzeń stawu biodrowego. W rozdziale trzecim skupiono uwagę na zabiegu alloplastyki stawu biodrowego, polegającego na zastąpieniu chorego stawu sztuczną endoprotezą. Szczególną uwagę poświęcono funkcji pielęgniarki, która w procesie powrotu pacjenta do formy i zdrowia pełni bardzo znaczącą rolę. To właśnie od jej opieki, wiedzy i umiejętności społecznych zależy współpraca z pacjentem oraz sukces procesu leczniczego.

The aim of this thesis is to present the role of a nurse looking after the patient after the alloplastic surgery of a hip joint.The thesis has been divided into four thematic chapters. The two first chapters are the introductory part to the included issuses which shows the reasons and the ways of curing the hip joint diseases. The third chapter, on the other hand, concentrates on the hip joint surgery which includes the replacement of the ill joint with the artificial implant. The special attention was focused on the role of a nurse, who plays an essential role in the patient recovery. The cooperation with patient and the overall success of a therapeutic process depends on the the nurse's care, social skills and knowledge.
