Situation of houses of culture in the twenty-first century.

Niniejsza praca jest próbą przybliżenia działalności domów kultury w XXI wieku. W pierwszym rozdziale przytoczyłam podstawowe pojęcia dla pracy oraz zdefiniowałam miejsce kultury w społeczeństwie. W następnym przybliżyłam genezę powstawania domów kultury, a także główne ich zadania oraz funkcje, jakie pełnią. W rozdziale trzecim opisana została sytuacja finansowa, kadrowa oraz stan infrastruktury. W ostatnim rozdziale scharakteryzowana została działalność domów kultury. Wskazano główne kierunki ich działań, a także zainteresowanie odbiorów, które nawet w dzisiejszych czasach wydaje się być bardzo duże.

Master's thesis is an attempt to approximate the activities of houses of culture in the twenty-first century. The first chapter is a definition of the basic concepts for work and the place of culture in society. In the next chapter I approached the genesis of the houses of culture, as well as their primary tasks and functions which they perform. In the third chapter I described the financial situation, staffing situation, and state infrastructure. The last chapter is a characteristic of the activities of cultural centers. The main directions of their activities were shown, as well as receipts interest , which even today seems to be very large.
