Playing and a toy in childrens` life when they are in pre- school age- continuity and the generational change

STRESZCZENIE Celem mojej pracy magisterskiej pt. „Zabawa i zabawka w życiu dziecka w wieku przedszkolnym- ciągłość i zmiana pokoleniowa” było znalezienie odpowiedzi na pytanie: jaka role pełni zabawa i zabawka w życiu dziecka oraz czy i jak zmieniły się zabawy i zabawki w życiu dziecka w wieku przedszkolnym. Pierwszy rozdział mojej pracy zawiera ogólną charakterystykę zabawy w przedszkolu, teren zabawy , klasyfikacje, funkcje oraz cechy. Drugi rozdział dotyczy zabawek jakimi bawią się dzieci w wieku przedszkolnym, ich cech i klasyfikacji. W trzecim rozdziale przedstawiłam specyfikę edukacji przedszkolnej, jej funkcje, cele, środki, formy oraz metody wykorzystywane w pracy z dziećmi. Rozdział czwarty obejmuje charakterystykę dziecka w wieku przedszkolnym, jego rozwój fizyczny, społeczno- moralny i emocjonalny.W piątym rozdziale przedstawiłam metodologiczne podstawy badan . Głównym celem badania było zdobycie informacji na temat roli zabawy i zabawek w życiu dziecka w wieku przedszkolnym oraz czy i jak zmieniały się zabawy i zabawki w życiu dziecka na przestrzeni ostatnich sześćdziesięciu lat. Sformułowałam również problemy szczegółowe , które pozwoliły mi na zdobycie materiału empirycznego. Spośród wielu metod wykorzystałam obserwacje i analizę dokumentów oraz technikę wywiadu i ankietę. Rozdział ten zawiera również opis przebiegu i organizacji badan oraz charakterystykę grupy badawczej. Rozdział szósty obejmuje analizę i interpretacje materiału badawczego , wyniki oraz podsumowanie. Ponadto praca zawiera spis tabel, wykresów oraz aneks, który składa się z : kwestionariusza wywiadu, ankiety, scheduły obserwacyjnej i ilustracji dzieci przedstawiających ich ulubione zabawki oraz listy do św. Mikołaja.

SUMMARY The aim of my project, titled: ”Playing and a toy in childrens life when they are in pre- school age- continuity and the generational change”, was finding the answers to these questions- what is the role of playing and the role of a toy in childrens life and whether and how have the games and the toys changed in the child s life in the pre- school age.The first chapter contains the main characteristics of playing in the kindergarten, the area of playing, classification, functions and features.The second chapter concerns toys used by children to play when they are in pre- school age, features of the toys and classification.In the third chapter I described the specificity of pre- school education, its functions, aims, sources, forms and methods of using the work with children. The fourth chapter contains the characteristics of a child in pre- school age, its physical, social, moral and emotional development.In the fifth chapter I described the methodological basic of research. The leading aim of the research was to find the information about the role of playing and toys in childrens life and whether and how have the games and the toys changed for the last sixty years. I formulated the detailed problems, what helped me get the investigational material. From many methods I used the observation and the analysis of the documents, the technique of review and the survey. This chapter contains also the description of the progress and the organization of research and the characteristics of the investigated group of children.The sixth chapter contains the analysis and the interpretation of the investigational material, results and the summary. Additionally the project contains the list of charts, diagrams and the appendix that consists of: the questionnaire, the survey, the schedule of observation and the illustrations made by children that represent their favourite toys and the letters to Santa Claus.
