Managing relations in the classroom : the Gephi program in the analysis of the sociometric network in the Moreno technique

Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie techniki Moreno, która umożliwia pozna-nie relacji w klasie szkolnej i zarządzanie nimi, a także prezentacja programu Gephi, ułatwiającego analizowanie złożonych zbiorów danych o układzie sieciowym. Na podstawie wyników analizy relacji pomiędzy uczniami w klasie z wykorzystaniem techniki Moreno zaprezentowano kluczowe cechy i omówiono efekty wizualne programu. Wykorzystanie Gephi zapewnia łatwy i szeroki dostęp do analizy danych sieciowych, a wizualizacja wyników umożliwia trafną, pogłębioną ich analizę, co z kolei przekłada się na możliwość budowania właściwych relacji między uczniami. W niniejszym artykule, prezentując cechy programu Gephi oraz możliwości jego wykorzystania, autorzy zwracają uwagę na rolę i kluczowe aspekty wizualizacji sieci.

The aim of the article is to present the Moreno technique, which enables studying and managing relations in the classroom, as well as the presentation of the Gephi program, which allows analyzing complex data sets about the network system. Based on the results and a specific analysis of relations in the group of students while using the Moreno technique, the key features and valuable visual effects of the program were presented. The use of Gephi provides easy and wide access to network data analysis, and the visualization of results enables accurate, in-depth analysis, which makes it possible to build appropriate relationships between students. In this article, by presenting the features of the Gephi program and the possibilities of its use, the authors emphasize the role and key aspects of network visualization.
