Komisy KaeReLa "Łauma" i "Kościsko" to pełne humoru i fantazji opowieści zarówno o przedchrześcijańskim, jak i o współczesnym świecie, o normie, inności, obcości. Obydwa zbudowane na podobnym schemacie: do miejscowości na Suwalszczyźnie przybywają dziecięcy bohaterowie wraz z rodzicami. Spotkanie z miejscowymi prowadzi do pytań o to, czym jest swojskość i inność/obcość, a interpretacja prowadzona jest na trzech płaszczyznach: topograficznej, epistemologicznej i teologicznej. Pierwsze określenie innego/obcego i swojego opiera się na kategorii miejsca, przeciwstawieniu miasta i wsi, cywilizacji i natury. Dodatkowo wyróżnia się tu kategoria "swojego obcego". Inni to także widzący więcej, potrafiący dostrzec pozaracjonalne, nad-zwyczajne. Trzecie to rozróżnienie między ludźmi a nieludźmi (bóstwami i demonami z mitologii Bałtów i Słowian), postrzeganymi jako inni i obcy, ale u KaeRela stanowiącymi nieodłączny składnik pełnego, bogatego świata. Wszystkie rozumienia łączy krytyka współczesnego i tęsknota za innym światem, utraconą harmonią. Jako klucz do tego, co inne przedstawiona została kultura (literatura i muzyka), co stanowi ciekawy wątek w dyskusji.

KaeReL's comic books "Łauma" and "Kościsko" are stories full of humor and fantasy, about the pre-Christian and the modern world, about norms, otherness and foreignness. Both of them are built on a similar pattern: children's heroes come to the town in the Suwałki region together with their parents. Meeting with locals leads to questions about the meaning of familiarity and otherness / foreignness, and interpretation is carried out on three levels: topographic, epistemological and theological. The first description of other / foreign and native and familiar is based on the category of place, opposing the city and the village, civilization and nature. In addition, the category of "familiar stranger" stands out here. Others are also those who see more, who can perceive the extra-ordinary. The third is the distinction between people and non-human beings (deities and demons in the mythology of the Balts and Slavs), perceived as different and foreign, but in KaeReL constituting an inseparable component of the full and rich world. All understanding combines contemporary criticism and longing for another world, for lost harmony. As the key to what other has been presented the culture (literature and music), which is an interesting thread in the discussion.
