Abstract in English

The text deals with the question of presence of the so called White Croats and Croats in general in Carantania (later the county and duchy of Carinthia) in the Early Middle Ages as well as its circumstances and spurs in written sources. It relates to particular passeges of the primary sources (most important of them being De Administrando Imperio of Constantine VII Porphyrogennitus) and to discussion on the topic in Croatian and Slovenian historiography.
