Polish society is increasingly tolerant of non-heteronormative people. Still, many people see and treat non-heteronormative
in a stereotypical way. This is also true in health care. Often this affects negatively the effects of treatment
and dissatisfaction with nursing care. The aim of this study was to know the opinion of people non-heteronormative on the quality of health care. The study was performed by diagnostic survey questionnaire technique. The research tool was
a questionnaire of our own design. The survey was conducted by the Internet. The study involved 236 people. Statistical
analysis was performed using IBM SPSS Statistics 20. Non-heteronormative people rated the quality of services provided by dentists at a very good, GPs at a good level
and physicians of other specialties at the average. Gynaecologists most commonly believed that the patient is heterosexual.
To refuse health benefits because of the sexual orientation of patients most frequently occurred in health clinics with
a signed contact with the NFZ, as well as in emergency departments. The most common psychological violence used a clinical
psychologists. Education of respondents had little impact on the assessment of the quality of services in the health sector. The opinion non-heteronormative people on the quality of health care has been in most of the positive aspects.
