A concept of time in Tibetan Buddhism on the basis of Kalachakra Tantra

Artykuł analizuje tybetańskiej pojęcie czasu na podstawie Tantry Kalaczakry - jednego z najważniejszych tekstów buddyzmu tybetańskiego. Wychodząc od podstawowych założeń buddyjskich dotyczących nietrwałości, cierpienia i cyklicznego powracania czujących istot, artykuł omawia najważniejsze idee zawarte w Kalaczakrze. Tekst opisuje zostaje początek i kształtowanie się wszechświata, rozwój czujących istot oraz związek istniejący pomiędzy światem a jego mieszkańcami. Artykuł kończy się wyjaśnieniem podstawowej idei buddyjskiej - wyzwolenia z cyklicznej egzystencji, konkludując, że buddyjska soteriologia w powyższym kontekście jest końcem czasu.

The article analyzes the Tibetan concept of time based on the Kalachakra Tantra - one of the most important texts of Tibetan Buddhism. Starting from the basic Buddhist principles of impermanence, suffering and cyclic existence, the article discusses the most important ideas of the Kalachakra. Text describes the beginning and evolution of the universe, the development of sentient beings and the relationship between the world and its inhabitants. The article ends with an explanation of the basic Buddhist idea - liberation from cyclic existence, concluding that Buddhist soteriology in this context is the end of time.
