The article contains reflections on the specificity of involvement of clinically oriented social workers in activities for the benefit of difficult heritage communities, which are marked by the history of traumatic experiences of war, genocide and contempt for people. The study was created as part of a broader research conducted in Krakow in the area and in the vicinity of the former German labor and concentration camp in Płaszow in cooperation with the Historical Museum of the City of Krakow (Museum Workshop - Memoriał Site at the former KL Płaszow).
