For persons with ORCID ID

1. After logging in to the Jagiellonian University Repository (RUJ - https://ruj.uj.edu.pl) the user will see the ORCID registration screen, where the action “log in to your ORCID account” should be selected

2. The ORCID login window will open in a new tab

3. After logging in, the user will see a message indicating that the Jagiellonian University Repository is requesting access to the user's ORCID number. At this point, you must grant permission by clicking Authorize access

4. After authorizing the provision of ORCID ID for RUJ, the registration window closes and the system automatically takes us to the Repository home page

5. The ORCID account in “Trusted parties” will show the date and type of affiliation with the UJ Repository

Be sure NOT to DEACTIVATE this link by pressing the trash icon [Revoke access].

6. IMPORTANT!

→ If an ORCID account was created using an email address other than the one in the uj.edu.pl domain, add it to the account information as an additional email address

→ After logging in to your ORCID account, it is worth making sure that the institution to which the works are affiliated has been specified correctly in the user profile. To do this, go to edit your employment information at the Jagiellonian University or, if there is no such information in your profile yet, add it

Employment

→ Once you are sure that all fields have been completed correctly, confirm them by clicking the Save Changes button

→ Information in RUJ about the correct connection to ORCID may be visible with a delay.
