Websites of selected Polish political parties. Comparative analysis

Celem niniejszej pracy licencjackiej jest ukazanie różnic i podobieństw w strukturze i funkcjonowaniu serwisów informacyjnych prowadzonych przez wybrane polskie partie polityczne. Zasadniczym przedmiotem pracy są serwisy internetowe prowadzone przez partię Prawa i Sprawiedliwości, Platformy Obywatelskiej, Konfederacji, Nowej Lewicy oraz Polskiego Stronnictwa Ludowego. Wybraną metodą osiągniecia celu jest metoda analizy porównawczej. Metoda ta pozwoliła na wskazanie elementów wspólnych jak i różniących poszczególne serwisów w oparciu o wcześniej przygotowany schemat porównawczy w skład, którego wchodzą m.in elementy szaty graficznej, architekturę informacji, politykę informacyjną, jakość informacji, komunikację społeczną oraz wrażenia użytkownika wynikające z korzystania z serwisów. Wyniki otrzymane w drodze analizy porównawczej wykazały, że serwisy 5 wybranych polskich partii politycznych funkcjonują w oparciu o podobne schematy budowy serwisów internetowych, jednak różnią się między sobą poszczególnymi elementami. Wnioski natomiast pozwalają na wskazanie elementów wspólnych oraz różniących poszczególne witryny internetowe.

The aim of this BA thesis is to show the differences and similarities in the structure and functioning of information services run by selected Polish political parties. The main subject of the work are websites run by the Law and Justice party, Civic Platform, Confederation, New Left and the Polish People's Party. The chosen method of achieving the goal is the method of comparative analysis. This method will allow for the identification of common and different elements of individual websites based on a previously prepared comparative diagram, which includes, among others, graphic design elements, information architecture, information policy, information quality, social communication and user experience resulting from the use of websites. The results obtained in the comparative analysis showed that the websites of 5 selected Polish political parties operate on the basis of similar patterns of building websites, but they differ in individual elements. Conclusions, on the other hand, allow for the identification of common elements and elements that differ individual websites.
