Procesy Migracyjne w Niemczech od Czasów Ich Zjednoczenia do Współczesności. Wpływ Mniejszości Narodowych na Życie Polityczne Kraju

Poniższa praca bada temat migracji w Niemczech od czasów zjednoczenia kraju. Głównym celem jest przedstawienie wymiaru prawnego, politycznego i społecznego oraz odpowiedź na pytanie, czy Niemcy wspierają lub utrudniają imigrację i integrację migrantów i uchodźców. Praca dotyczy reform i zmian w ustawodawstwie, akceptacji przez Niemcy statusu „kraju imigracyjnego”, dyskursu politycznego i stanowiska dominujących sił politycznych na temat imigracji, dyskursu społecznego, w tym opinii publicznej i przedstawienia migracji w mediach, a także starania społeczeństwa obywatelskiego na rzecz integracji migrantów na poziomie lokalnym. Stwierdzono, że Niemcy przyjęły model integracji oparty na asymilacji i osobistej odpowiedzialności migrantów. Pomimo sceptycyzmu ludności i rosnącej siły skrajnie prawicowych sił politycznych, obecne są również procesy odwrotne, wraz z odrodzeniem się postępowych lewicowych elit politycznych i większą tolerancją odmienności kulturowej, co stanowi podstawę ostrożnego optymizmu w sprawie integracji imigrantów i uchodźców w przyszłości.

The following thesis explores the topic of migration in Germany since the unification of the country. The central goal is to present legal, political, and social dimensions regarding the prob-lem and to answer whether Germany promotes or hinders the immigration and integration of migrants and refugees. The work explores reforms and changes in the legislation, German ac-ceptance of its status as “immigration country,” the political discourse and the stance of domi-nant political forces on the topic of immigration, the social discourse, including public opinion and representation of migration in the media, as well as the efforts of civil society to integrate migrants on the local level. It was found that Germany adopted the model of integration based on assimilation and personal responsibility of migrants. Despite the scepticism of the population and the growing power of far-right political forces, the opposite processes are present as well with the resurgence of progressive left-wing political elites and greater tolerance of cultural di-versity, which provides the foundation for careful optimism regarding the integration of immi-grants and refugees in the future.
