Niniejsza praca zajmuje się analizą romantycznego obrazu kobiety na podstawie powieści Friedricha Schlegla „Lucinde”. Badanie ma na celu przedstawienie, w jaki sposób została ukazana płeć żeńska, a także jakie cechy i role autor przypisuje kobietom. Praca podzielona jest na trzy części. Początkowo, w rozdziale teoretycznym dokonano opisu sytuacji, roli i pozycji kobiet w czasach epoki romantyzmu. Przybliżony został także ogólny obraz kobiet ukształtowany w literaturze z uwzględnieniem wpływu oświeceniowych filozofów i ich poglądów dotyczących postrzegania płci. Kolejna część pracy zajmuje się ukazanymi w powieści rozważaniami nad koncepcją kobiecości i różnicami wynikającymi z podziału płci. Następne rozdziały przybliżają obraz poszczególnych kobiet występujących w „Lucinde”, a także stanowią charakterystykę tytułowej bohaterki z uwzględnieniem jej ról społecznych i biologicznych. Ostatnia część pracy stanowi podsumowanie, w którym zostały sformułowane wnioski płynące z analizy powieści Friedricha Schlegla. Autor tworzy stereotypowy, wyidealizowany obraz kobiety zgodny z panującą w romantyzmie ogólną wizją dotyczącą podziału płci.

The following thesis was written to examine the image of women in Friedrich Schlegel's novel "Lucinde". The study shows how the female gender has been described and which qualities and roles the author ascribes to women. The work is divided into three parts. First, the theoretical chapter describes the situation, role and position of women in Romanticism. Then I present general image of women in literature and the influence of Enlightenment philosophers and their views about gender perception. The next part of the study considers the reflections on the concept of femininity and the differences resulting from the division of the sexes in the novel. The following chapters provide an overview of the women in Lucinde, as well as a profile of the title character and her social and biological roles. The last part of the work is a summary, in which I have an overlook of the whole analysis of Friedrich Schlegel's novel. The author creates a stereotypical, idealised image of a woman, which conforms with the general vision of gender division in Romanticism.

Das Ziel der vorliegenden Arbeit war die Darstellung des Frauenbildes, das in Friedrich Schlegels Roman beschrieben wird. Die Studie soll zeigen, wie das weibliche Geschlecht dargestellt wird und welche Eigenschaften und Rollen der Autor den Frauen zuschreibt. Die Arbeit ist in drei Teile gegliedert. Das theoretische Kapitel beschreibt zunächst die Situation der Frauen im Zeitalter der Romantik und auch ihre literarische Darstellung, wobei der Einfluss der Aufklärungsphilosophen und ihre Ansichten zur Geschlechterwahrnehmung berücksichtigt werden. Der nächste Teil ist das im Roman beschriebene Konzept des weiblichen Geschlechts, die Besprechung einzelner Frauen und die Charakteristik der Hauptprotagonistin unter Berücksichtigung ihrer sozialen und biologischen Rollen.Der letzte Teil der Arbeit ist eine Zusammenfassung, in der die Schlussfolgerungen aus der Analyse von Friedrich Schlegels Roman formuliert werden. Der Autor kreiert ein stereotypes, idealisiertes Frauenbild, das der allgemeinen romantischen Vorstellung von dem Geschlecht entspricht.
