The work is devoted to the theatrical heritage of contemporary areas of Poland. It presents information about the development of the theatrical heritage and its protection in the contemporary conditions. Based on the concept of cultural heritage. My work making an attempts to define and categorize it. Discusses the legal aspects and represents the institutions dealing with protection the legacy of the theater. It presents information’s about the activities of these institutions, projects related to the protection and digitalization's projects. My work is moving aspects of the protection of theater in the material and immaterial form.
