W niniejszej pracy dokonujemy analizy opinii czytelniczych na temat powieści pt. „Baltazar iBlimunda” (tytuł oryginału: „Memorial do Convento”, 1982; wyd. pol. 1993) autorstwa JoséSaramago (1922–2010) umieszczonych na największym portalu internetowym w kategorii„Kultura i Literatura” w Polsce, o nazwie www.lubimyczytac.pl. W części pierwszej zwięźleprzedstawiono metodę badawczą analizy zawartości mediów, jak również podstawowezagadnienia związane z literaturą i Internetem oraz praktykami czytelniczymi Polaków.Część druga obejmuje analizę opinii użytkowników portalu w odniesieniu do wspomnianejpowieści portugalskiego twórcy, uhonorowanego Nagrodą Nobla w dziedzinie literatury w1998 roku.

In this work we analyze the opinions of the readers of the novel Baltasar and Blimunda (the title of the original is "Memorial do Convento" 1982; published in english 1987) by José Saramago (1922-2010) placed on the largest web site in the category "Culture and Literature" in Poland, which is called www.lubimyczytac.pl. In the first part, the research method of content analysis of mass media is briefly presented, including some key issues relating to the literature and Internet and certain reading practices disclosed in Polish society. The second part includes an analysis of the opinions of the users about the mentioned work of the Portuguese writer, winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1998.

No presente trabalho analisam-se as opiniões dos leitores do romance Memorial do Convento(1982; edição polaca intitulada “Baltazar i Blimunda”, 1993) de José Saramago (1922–2010)colocadas no maior sítio eletónico na categoria “Cultura e Literatura” na Polónia, que sechama www.lubimyczytac.pl. Na primeira parte, foi apresentado brevemente o método deinvestigação da análise de conteúdo dos meios de comunicação de massa, algumas questõesfundamentais relativas à literatura e à Internet, assim como certas práticas de leituradivulgadas na sociedade polaca. A segunda parte abrange uma análise das opiniões dosusuários do site sobre a obra acima referida do escritor português, galardoado com o PrémioNobel de Literatura, em 1998.
