Balance sheet as a basic source for assessing the financial and asset situation of the company using the example of CCC S.A.

Celem niniejszej pracy licencjackiej było przeprowadzenie analizy poziomej i pionowej bilansu Grupy CCC S.A. w skład, której wchodzi analiza struktury, dynamiki aktywów i pasywów sprawozdania finansowego oraz przedstawienie wskaźników finansowych określających sytuację majątkowo-finansową przedsiębiorstwa. Część teoretyczna pracy zawiera informacje na temat sprawozdawczości finansowej oraz zwraca szczególną uwagę na bilans, jego części składowe, rodzaje analizy oraz metod wyceny poszczególnych grup bilansowych. Natomiast w części empirycznej zostały przedstawione wyniki badań, których głównym ce-lem była analiza zmian struktury bilansu na przełomie lat 2018-2021oraz wpływ kryzysu (pandemia koronawirusa) na majątek przedsiębiorstwa. Podmiotem, którego dane posłużyły do analizy była Grupa CCC S.A. Proces badawczy przebiegł przy zastosowaniu porównawczych metod badawczych oraz analizie treści bilansu wraz z badaniem wskaźników z okresu 2018-2021. Głównym źródłem wykorzystanym do zgromadzenia informacji były skonsolidowane sprawozdania finansowe Grupy CCC S.A. sporządzane w latach 2018-2021, w szczególności sprawozdania z sytuacji finansowej (bilans). Na podstawie otrzymanych wyników z przeprowadzonej analizy stwierdzono, że bilans jest sprawozdaniem dostarczającym informacji na temat kapitałowo-majątkowej i finansowej przedsiębiorstwa oraz jakości zarządzania majątkiem i kapitałem przez przedsiębiorstwo.

The aim of this bachelor’s thesis was to perform a horizontal and vertical analysis of the balance sheet of the Group CCC S.A., which includes an analysis of the structure, the dynamics of the assets and liabilities of the annual financial statements and the presentation of the financial indicators that determine the asset and financial situation of the company. The theoretical part of the work contains information on accounting and deals with the balance sheet, its components, the types of analysis and the valuation methods of the various balance sheet group. The empirical part presented the result of a study whose main objective was to analyze the development of the 2018-2021 balance sheet structure and the impact of the crisis (coronavirus pandemic) on the company’s assets. The subject whose data were used for the analysis was the Group CCC S.A. The research process was carried out using comparative research methods and the analysis of the contents of the balance sheet together with the analysis of the indicators from the period 2018-2021. The main source for the collection of the information was the consolidated financial statements of the Group CCC S.A. prepared for the years 2018-2021, the balance sheet. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that the balance sheet is a report that discloses the company’s capital and financial resources and the quality of the company’s asset and capital management.
