Dysfunctionality of universal Human Rights in the face of social and political diversity on a Cambodia case.

Niniejsza praca magisterska poświęcona jest zagadnieniom przestrzegania i rozpoznawania wolności i praw ludzkich we współczesnej Kambodży, kraju o odrębnych tradycjach i kulturze. Autorka celowo wybrała te państwo, ponieważ jej zdaniem, stanowi ono doskonały przykład na zobrazowanie problemów z jakimi zmagają się ludzie w krajach post-autorytarnych. Celem pracy jest więc próba unaocznienia skali fenomenu łamania podstawowych praw człowieka w obliczu globalnej demokratyzacji świata. Przedstawia dysfunkcyjność międzynarodowego systemu ochrony i walki z przestępstwami dotyczącymi praw człowieka w tej części świata. Problematyczne rozważania na temat praw człowieka oraz ich uniwersalność będą stanowić główny temat pracy.

This Master's thesis is devoted to the issues of respect and recognition of human rights and freedoms in contemporary Cambodia, a country with different traditions and culture. The author deliberately chose the country because, in its view, it is a perfect example to illustrate the problems faced by the people in the post-authoritarian countries. The aim of the study is therefore an attempt to illustrate the scale of the phenomenon of violation of fundamental human rights in the face of global democratization of the world. Shows the dysfunctional international system of protection and the fight against crimes relating to human rights in this part of the world. Problematic reflections on human rights and their versatility will be the main topic of work.
