Early childhood trauma experience, the maturity level of defence mechanisms and the Dark Triad personality traits of psychotherapists

Praca dotyczy eksploracji związków między cechami osobowości, dojrzałością mechanizmów obronnych oraz przeżyciami traumy wczesnodziecięcej przez psychoterapeutów i studentów psychologii, oraz bada różnice między tymi grupami. Część teoretyczna opisuje zagadnienia cech Jasnej i Ciemnej Triady, mechanizmów obronnych oraz traumy wczesnodziecięcej w kontekście traumy złożonej. Grupa badanych studentów psychologii składała się z 53 osób, a psychoterapeutów z 68 osób. Do badania użyto kwestionariusza DSQ – 40, własnego kwestionariusza traumy wczesnodziecięcej, kwestionariusza Parszywa Dwunastka i Skróconego Kwestionariusza Jasnej Triady. Badanie kontynuuje świeżą dyskusję na temat osobowości i trudności osób zajmujących się prowadzeniem psychoterapii.

This study explores the correlations between personality traits, the maturity of defense mechanisms, and early childhood trauma experiences among psychotherapists and psychology students as well as differences between these groups. It discusses the theory of Light and Dark Triad personality traits, defense mechanisms, as well as early childhood complex trauma. The group of psychology students included 53 individuals, and the group of psychotherapists included 68 participants.The study uses the DSQ - 40 questionnaire, a self - developed early childhood trauma questionnaire, The Dirty Dozen questionnaire and the Short Light Triad questionnaire. The research continues the recent discussion on personality traits and the challenges of individuals practicing psychotherapy.
